Anyone have any experience with Atopica? Good experiences? Bad experiences? Just wondering if its a med we should be pursuing with our dermatologist...Thanks!

We used Atopica and we think it helped, but honestly we were doing some other things in conjunction with the Atopica to treat the allergies so it's hard to say what impact the Atopica had in and of itself.

Our dog was constantly licking his feet which is where his allergies seemed to manifest and the protocol we used seemed to greatly reduce that.

Good luck with it! Forgot to mention, don't forget about the mail-in rebates that Novartis has on Atopica.

One of the other key medications we used in the treatment protocol that we think was a key part of the overall improvement we noticed was the use of Malaseb (we used the Malseb concentrate diluted down with water). I don't think Teva sells the concentrate anymore, but you may be able to still find some on the web. They do make the Malaseb flush which may likely be the same product, just sold in a pre-diluted form.
