All,
The moderators will pick the 15 best pictures, then setup a poll to have everyone vote on who should win. Remember one picture per users, all other will be deleted.

A little about the artist:
Barbara Martorana is a self- taught artist who specializes in animal portraits. She works in several media including graphite, color pencil and pastels. Her favorite is the graphite pencil which allows for the fine detail required in animal portraiture work. She is an animal lover and has a special affinity for the Bully breeds that have been much maligned. Her interest in the Bullies comes with a desire to help those that have been abandoned and are awaiting new homes in shelters all over the country. With that in mind, when you commission a pet portrait from Barbara she will donate 10% of the commission to local Pit Bull rescue organizations.

I think you picked a good one.. I think most people don't think amstaffs or pitbulls are water dogs.. People always seem shocked to hear that he loves the water..
Junior was up at the cottage with us last weekend, he went into the water at 9am and came out at 7pm. Just swimming around the dock and back. must have done it 1000 times.. He was even going 1 and 2 in the water cause he didn't want to get out..
Then about 7pm he was getting tired and whining, we couldn't figure out what he was whining about. As we watched him he was walking in small circles, starting to sit down, then when he tried to lay down the water was to deep and he was getting all emotional about it.. I wish we had a camcorder it was unreal and funny.. |
