All,
The moderators will pick the 15 best pictures, then setup a poll to have everyone vote on who should win. Remember one picture per users, other will be deleted.
Lets see pictures of your dogs playing, from funny to jumping to water shots.. Anything goes, good luck to everyone..

About the artist:
Joanne M. Mclaurin (Webber), a native Georgian, grew up in Griffin and Savannah, GA. While she has had no formal art training, for more than 30 years she has been drawing and painting mainly for her own pleasure. Friends and family have always encouraged her to paint commercially, and after 30 years with the same insurance company, she is doing just that.Joanne of Pet Portraits by Joanne - at home with Ringo
Joanne has explored various painting realms, including people, scenery, and landscapes, but she keeps coming back to her first love, animal painting, where the intricate details in her work have won her accolades from all that have viewed her art. Her destiny with Pet Portraits became apparent after she finished a large portrait of a Doberman and his pal, the family cat. Shortly after presenting the commissioned art painting to the owner, she received a tearful call thanking her so very much for the remembrance of her pet cat. It seems only days after the painting was hung, the seemingly healthy cat jumped for a window sill only to fall back suffering from a sudden and fatal stroke. The beloved family cat was gone forever, but the portrait remained to comfort the owner.Ringo has been waiting at the Rainbow Bridge since 1998...
Joanne began painting all her own dogs and cats and especially her 18 year old poodle Ringo. His AKC name was “Ringo, My Teddy Bear” and he was known by all that visited as the coolest poodle they had ever met. He is pictured above with Joanne at a family luau and his portrait upper right appears above his tombstone. Ringo has passed on to wait for Joanne at the Rainbow Bridge, and as the poem says, he is no longer in pain and suffers no more. He runs and plays with all the other animals until one day he too will break from the fun and run to greet |
