Does anyone know if there are any BSL (Breed Specific Legislation) in Ohio?
Going down to visit my brother soon and don't want to get surprised while going through some remote county.
Cause if I didn't have bad luck I wouldn't have any at all.. |

After a lot of research and calls I have found that Ohio doesn't have BSL laws.
They tried, they had bill passed and it was declared unconstitutional by the supreme court. The Court found no evidence to prove that these breeds are any more dangerous than others.
Ohio does have a "vicious dog" law in effect though.
What is a vicious dog you ask:
1 - Has killed or caused serious injury to any person
2 - Has killed or caused serious injury to any dog
3 - Without provocation, has chased or approached in either a menacing fashion or an apparent attitude of attack, or has attempted to bite or otherwise endanger any person
So looks like I am good to go.. Thought I would share my research..
Thanks
