You up for a challenge!!!!!!! I'll send you one of my dominant hard headed pups, and you try and obtain a basic obedience title without any kind of corrective training. LMAO..............I guarantee you won't get far. |
OK! Shadyblue I guess I wouldnt get far but I wouldn't give up either..
I'm not saying what's right or wrong i'm saying what I belive is right and what I belive is very wrong. |
And you are right. We all have different beliefs and there is NOTHING wrong with that at all.. But remember that beliefs that aren't the same as your don't make them wrong.. We all want the same at the end of the day. |

By the way I know that chokechains make neck injuries. But I just use them while taking a walk.
I always train without a leach (I dont train for shows where leaches are needed).
I never stated that chokechains are better than prongs.. infact i never mentioned a chokechain in this debate |
I don't think anyone is upset at all... This is a good debate.
I seen prong collars use and never seen a bloody neck. EVery collar can be used inproperly. I know you didn't mention a choker collar but I think it was brought up as an example. The collar that puts pressure is banned and a collar that will choke a dog to drop on the ground is ok.lol Go figure. I have no issues with either.. They need to be used the correct way. IMO |

Maybe the photos I saw and posted in my first post was of prongcollars used the wrong way. If the collars makes the dog follow your lead without hurting the dog and without makeing it do something to get away from hurting his neck then I guess it's an OK collar to use.. The looks of them and the photos kinda made me upset.

| I use a prong collar with my dogs but I take it like a tool of regulating,I use it little time, only to explain to the dog what I wish. When the dog makes no more error, I take away the prong collar, it means that he assimilated the exercice. But it is necessary to know how to use the prong collar, without know-how, it is useless to put this type of collar. |
