I'm not sure where all they are banned in Europe, but I believe that American Staffordshire Terriers are protected from alot of the bans. If you find any information feel free to post it because I would like to be aware of any places that ban our breed.

Do not go anywhere near France!

I had a puppy switch planes there and they held him and threatened to send him back because they insisted he was a pit bull (even though the health certificate and customs paperwork said otherwise). The rest of the story was a nightmare, but in the end he reached his new owner and recovered.

I am not too sure about anywhere else. I am assuming they are still banned in Germany. but not sure.

Good luck and I am glad to see you taking such responsibility before even getting the pup!!!!

It's more safe to buy an amstaff with fci pedigree, because in several countries amstaffs without fci pedigree are forbidden. In which country do you live?

This is totally WRONG..
Amstaffs are not banned in Holland and in parts of Germany they are not recognised..
Pitty's are banded in most place in europe NOT the amstaff..
