 |
|
I sent in results to OFA for a dog of mine that did not pass their cardiac exam. I know the dog won't receive a certificate, BUT my question is "Shouldn't the negative results still be posted online?" I initialed the area that said initial so that affected results will be available for the public view.
The only thing I can think of, is the dog was not dopplered, just checked by a cardio. so all that was sent in was that the dog had a murmur. Maybe if I have the doppler done and know exactly what the problem is then they will post results online??? |

I thought they posted everything. BUT a murmur is not a failed test. IMO. The only way to know if it is NOT an innocent murmur is by the echo. So I would think they would have posted something about a murmur or something but without a echo, I wouldn't say they would post a failing test with out the echo. JMO
If I may ask? Why did or would you post a result of a exam with out an echo or knowing if it is a innocent Murmur?? Maybe you confused OFA.LOL |

| Maybe I did confuse them. LOL I just sent the results in because it's a neutered dog that I'm sure no one has ever heard of the breeder so it won't *beep* off any breeders. In the spring I will still have the echo test done. I guess I will find out when I have the echo test done and send those results in. |

Ok the results finally did show up in the OFA online database, and what it says now is abnormal cardiac results, found by a cardiologist.
When I have his Echo done maybe we will find good news. Then if that is the case I know OFA fixes it in the database, so I'm not worried any. Just thought I would post my findings. |
