Idiot number one - Walks up and asks does he bite..
I usually reply with something like - only little kids and rabbits , followed up by, no he doesn't bite, he may lick you though so watch out..
Idiot number two - Walks up and says my friend wants to breed them, there is a lot of money for them, how much did you pay?
My reply (after picking my jaw up off the ground) was, people shouldn't breed for money.. End of conversation... |

I've delt with idiot number 2, and when they ask if there is money in the dogs, I tell them if I didn't have my dogs I would be driving a brand new Corvette right now. *beep* I picked an expensive hobby. LOL |

I have seen both.lol What about people that give you that look and walk WAAAAAAAYYY around you.
If you are making money with breeding. WOW Then you will be doing something wrong. IMO You are not doing your testing, showing or anything. You have couple of dogs sitting in the corner breeding. I hear ya Kris. We would have a in ground pool by now. Last year we put in 17,000 with our dogs in like 3 months. Fence, work on the kennel, food, and vet bills and testing. LOL Hope I can sell 20 thou of dogs this winter.lol JP now.lol |

Have had both those questions.. People are just dumb..
or i get the WHAT KIND DOG IS THAT??(mind you Im wearing a american pitbull terrier shirt or something)Im like you go ahead pet n love on the dog then Ill tell you or i tell them why dont you tell me after..LOL
but to the money question I tell them its not about the money cause we alone in just the one dog meaning Star have over 10k in her( we showed her Top Ten in 2006) I mean with our dogs with showing, vet care, and all that goes into raising healthy dogs there isnt money to be made.. What money if we get any from pups goes right back into the dogs.. |

| Oh my god have I had a lot of those idiots come across my path. But the best is when you take your dog to the vet and you got this lady with her little fifi dog sitting on the chair and looking at you with disgust. Mind you the dog was on the floor til I walked in. She frantically picked up the dog and put it on her lap. Give me a freakin brake. Thank god the clinic I go to love pitbulls/amstaffs. Of course I get greeted with the staff cause they all love my amstaffs. So they come and visit my boy and this little fifi gets to barking and jumps off and bites my boy on the lip. I told the lady that I should have been afraid of her dog and should have put my 75lb male on my lap in fear for his life and mine. The staff just laughed and walked away. While the lady just picked herself up and walked out the door. It feels so good to prove others wrong but also gets me all *beep* off to judge a person by the breed they own. If they only new what love, loyalty and devotion this breed had for its owner. There missing out on it.. Oh well more for me..lol |

I was at PetCo the other day(don't know why just was. Anyways I was walking Bricks into the store as another couple was walking out they stopped me and asked what kinda of pit I had now usually people ask if it is an American pit but not these people. Anyways I told them I didn't know of any other kind of pit except the one and only American pit bull terrier. Then they were trying to figure out what kind he was I was like actually he isn't a APBT he is a AST and I go but they are the same thing there is no difference. Then they were like saying my dog didn't look like any pit they have seen before. I told them because the ones you seen before aren't real and assured them this was what a true APBT looked like. They also proceeded to tell me they used to have one but it was a Germanian Pit I couldn't help but to laugh and it was imported from Germany or some BS I was like THERE IS NO SUCH THING.
Finally I walked away from them mumbling kind of loud Stupid A** People.
So thats my awesome story!
