 |
|
I have been looking for reputable classes to enroll my puppy in, and I have found a couple around the Madison, WI area but none that truly catch my eye. I would prefer to have someone who knows more about these types of breeds teaching, but so far no luck! I thought that maybe someone here would be kinda around the area and might know of a good one!
Thanks! |

| you could also always go to petsmart for basic training. Kerstieazy is a certified trainer there and ive learned a whole lot from her. plus since its a large corporation theyve done extensive research on training methods and theyre pretty PC. |

Badger Kennel Club would be the place I would start.
DO NOT go to Petsmart, in fact, I had heard that the corporate dictate was that pits/staffs are no longer allowed in their classes. It is a bubblegum experience and good only for getting a young pup out. |

BKC was not the first thing that popped up when I looked, but I did put it first for a reason...I thought they would be the most beneficial. I currently attend a conformation class taught by a handler/breeder who has been doing it since she could walk..I just wanted someone whos life was dogs and I found it |

I lived in Madison and knew the club, which is why I mentioned it. Generally, going to the all breed club in an area will direct you towards obedience classes that are geared for more than puppy socialization. |
