| I am currently trying whistle training both my dogs. Throughout the day I blow a dog whistle and reward them once they find me and sit at my feet. I am hoping with this method I will be able to command the attention of my dogs at any time. So far it’s been going well, but I was wondering if there was a health treat I could be giving them. Something they will want to come for but I can give them frequently throughout the day and not feel guilty for spoiling them or giving them something that is going to be bad in large amounts. Any help is appreciated thanks! |

| did you try animal crackers? i know they are not that healthy but they are affordable and a change. I have some friends that use them with their dogs. Myself my dogs not a treat dog so i get sparred all that headache. With whistling i just started whistling before i called my dog and he is starting to figure it out, good luck and keep calm (until the dog makes you pull out your hair, cuss like a trucker and gives you a breakdown). I shouldn't even joke like that but man it sure seems accurate at times. |
