Hello All

i would urge all to boycott the WORLD SHOW IN DENMARK if the breed ban are final in denmark, not support with money or entering dog`s

At the moment it looks like all the political parties agree there for a ban

I personally think that is absolutely wrong to boycott WDS 2010 in DK.. It just sends out a message to politicians in DK that we have stopped fighting for the survival of this breed in DK..

So to all of you out there... Please come, and show us AmStaff breeders in Denmark your support!!

There are 3 show in 3 days!!

Hope to see many of you in DK this summer.

Best Regards
Louise.

The Prime Minister of DENMARK said in his weekly press Release
THEY WILL HAVE A BREED BAN OF TOTAL 13 BREEDS
So now it is only a matter of when the new LAW will take place... Proberly After the world show July 1st 2010

I repeat what I posted elsewhere.
It is the government, not the organizing Danish Kennel Club, that wants this law. We don't support the DKC by staying away, we punish them.
I would much rather see everyone come, and use the opportunity to make this a big PR event for the breed. Personally I'm considering a banner/shirt saying
"Hug this dog now, next week he will be dangerous (according to this country's law)"
If Simba is still as popular with the ladies (esp young girls) as he was in Bratislava, that shouldn't go unnoticed Wink
But immagine if there would be a 150 dogs wearing that statement.

However again, I'd like to invite our Danish friends to let us know what will help most.

Smile that will be great i will 100 % get a shirt for my dogs if you make some Wink i will ofcurs come to the show to. i made up my minde that some of my dogs simply are to good to spray so i will ofcurs look for good homes for some and the rest i will keep as pet. i love the breed, if i can not breed then well , really really sad but i can still show them i the rest of the world ( and ofcurs denmark but no point ther will be no one to compeat aginst ) so no way i will say good buy to all my dogs.
so if any is looking for a good family dog right me Wink

Supporting this kind ! naa i dont think so - but its a free world ? or is it

Danish Kennel Club is only a shadow in this and has been very lame in protecting its members
They are what you would call main stream and don’t really want to take the fight – there main goal and have been the last few years earning money – judging HD/ED/HEART- MENTAL TESTS always at a lower point then giving from the vets in and around the country – it’s under all Criticism to say the least they giving out a press release the they don’t believe in a Bann but that’s all – they are acting as if they are isolated union and not a part of the FCI – many dog owners and kennel have had more and more head egg over the year and FCI should take an observation and closer look how Danish kennel club act and conduct their own rules and not follow FCI
My personal oppionen: out from fellow kennels from Denmark sending prow off AA hips getting bb or worse same in elbows or heart – and only when there was a formal complain the fci and the contacted DKK they changed it – but many are having lesser results on all there test on tip top dogs

And even the chairman`s of the DKK is coming with some outrageous quotes or total dumb , regarding how to handle all this.... 6ft fence around houses "like prison" always leach ecc

Well this is not right, if you complain about your hip x-ray it will be the Nordic appeal how is re judge your pictures, so people from sweden , finland and norway. and from wath i know they normal end up almost the same.
but of curs you can always buy a dog with "AA" hips from countrys where they may not be as "hard" on there judge and then of curs the dog will not get the same Status in denmark if the dog get a new x-ray there.
i know in some country you can pay to get good hips on your dog..
so i rather get the REAL status on my dog than a GOOD, it will end up bit you in you own a.. if your future breeding.

but from most FCI countrys and USA you can get your dogs result transfer to Denmark, he ones you can not transfer from, well maybe there is a reason.

but this maybe belong in another topic and is of curs just my opinion

Well I think you got of track here! DKK is fare and honest compared to several other counties when it comes to taking care of its members best, I also think many other Danish dog breeders would disagree with your wives on how DKK conduct and handles its cases , but in this forum there are not that many
Not the politicians have started this Bann it’s fabricated from the Medias then moved on gotten out hand and into the government! This has been going on for over a year!
DKK/FCI have not taken the part in the fight for its members and dog`s – it’s not only the AST leaving -
In general, its seams everyone have forgotten in Denmark is that all DOG`S are Animals we are trying to get to act like humans or treat likewise this is simply not always possible.
And if it’s not in speculation from the government and DKK waiting on the Bann to after the WM is ONLY because of money no more – A statement from DKK here was all It got no demo not really any real outbreaks, properly a small complain to the government about the effect it would have money wise if people could not come to the show $$$$ ---
When this is in effect only a matter of time more races will slowly follow because all dogs can bite and more accidents will happen
Well in past living in Denmark getting a German schnauzer, from Germany my x-ray`s HD/ED got lesser points until I got a hold of FCI and made a formal complain “GERMANY”
I think if you made a task out of it " but why you head egg enough" but you would be aware of many other breeders who had same problem , but no one ever heir about it from because all negative about DKK is silences because of monopole of DKK , they don’t approve for example Danish Race dog Union who are just as good and have same rules and older “ 1937” than FCI are in Denmark because they have monopole and rule as they see fit , like the government does because of newspaper hetz and not of real facts from Danish terrier club or who else have been involved to try explain a Bann won’t work
