I purchased her as a family pet (and a great one she is at that! ), but you have to wonder in the back of your head, if she ever had what it takes to have been a show dog? Brandy is double great grand daughter to Rowdytown's Hard Rock Cafe and has several impressive show winners from White Rock and Patton lines in her pedigree.
I have never even been to a dog show, so I don't even know what the judges look for. Keep in mind she will be 8 at the end of this month and has lost a bit of muscle tone from being a couch potato. She is also a bit stiff in this picture, as this is the first time I was trying to make her pose. Otherwise, how well is she put together? Go ahead, be honest. I can take it. Bob |

| Yes she could have finished, based on the pic anyways, i can't comment on temperament or movement, but looks to be put together nicely. Is she a pure ruffian bitch? She has that look to her. Very pretty bitch. |

I would say 'yes', just going by this picture, although she looks to be enjoying the good life with the pool and all! |

Thanks guys for the votes of confidence! That makes me feel good inside about her. However, good or bad feedback would not change the way I feel about her. She is GREAT dog! She was truly proud and confident as an adolescent and I sometimes regretted having her fixed, but that was the promise I made to the breeder.
I don't have her pedigree with me, but she is probably 90% or more Ruffian. Going back 5 generations, there were only 2 or 3 dogs in her ped. that weren't Ruffian and I believe those were Expert dogs. If you asked me 7 years ago, I could probably name every single one of them, but not any more. I actually sought the Ruffian line when shopping for a pup. I liked the way they were not too "bully" or scary looking and their temperment is usually outstanding. I will never be without one! Bob |
