| Our puppy has really pretty blue eyes and I was wondering if they will change colors or stay blue. I know babies are all born with blue eyes and then can change later so I was just curious. Thanks.... |

had the eye color change?
it is depend on what shade of blue it is... i notice that those with really light stay light.. those with dark change. I don't know but i did came across adult pitbull last week that have sky blue eyes.. she looked so beautiful.. Her eyes were almost like human!!
my dog was dark blue which then change to dark green and now she is dark brown eyes with slight amber ring.
Her father had got wool eye color.. or amber i am not sure but the breeder said that his coat color was rare and that is why he had got light eyes that goes with his wool color coat... the breeder explained it better then i could.
Cute pup by the way |

I dont know this as i only have one dog and i am not breeder but i have copied this from my email and paste it into here.. this is what being said to me
"Regarding the eyes color, not everybody knows that this eyes color corresponds to the wool color. As you can see, Stone’s color is not usual and rare enough"
I was asking many questions to the breeder because somebody i know had Stone at later age so i was doing them favour. |

I have to point this out... Stone is the dog that lives not far from me and I see him daily... in the hope that I will adopt him lol... Partly because i am more interested in this breed then his owner is. But Stone's owner do loves him as a pet, I wanted to do more then that with him i.e. take him to the show etc.. So if his owner do let me keep him then I will take him to USA with me (the owner is one of my relative).
Back to the point.. his coat color is different to the picture..
it is kind of creamy color, i tried to match it with color category but couldn't pinpoint it to the color category some is too dark or too light or slightly different pigment that could be class as dilute.. But then i am new to this breed... well 1 or 2 years experience to be exact. I learned a lot since i got Skylar.
Maybe you guys can help me out when I get better picture of stone in the near future. |

Thanks Carla! I have been trying to figure out what color he is. When i first met him i thought one of his parent would be blue but turned out none of them were blue as it appear from tracing his family through pedigree. most of his line were brindle, red |
