how old is your puppy?

Tell him firmly no and give him toy. But also you must ensure your kid knows what they are doing when it comes to that. I can imagine kid carry on playing with the pup... The best way to do is if the pup bite, ignore the pup. They don't like to be ignored.

Others will give better explanation and tips

We will tap their nose or hold there muzzle and say no bite.. But we had to train our kids as well. You can train a puppy not to bite but if a kid is going to tease the pup or want to play then the pup will play back. Just remember a pup learns biting and playing in his/her litter and most of the time it is very easy to fix. Some you will have to get firm with more then others. You will read many different way of stopping it. I don't know the age of your kid but when our kids learned what to do, it was so much easier to train the pup. IMO

All the above advice is good. We used the "no bite" technique with all the dogs we owned, and the stop play method works well too. They hate that! I also taught my kids not to rough play with the amstaffs, since they get excited and don't know their own strength.

If the pup is very stubborn, you may want to teach the kids to gently turn him over on his back to the "vulnerable" position, and calmly tell him "no" until he settles down and submits. This worked like a dream also with puppy food aggression. The earlier the better!

all above is good, and i also told my daughter that it's okay to play...?
BUT also told her not to do anything with the dog that she wouldn't like...
for example pulling at ears... she does't want that, well neither does the dog?

i also told her that if one of the dogs is on her/his corner she is NOT allowed to go there...
she has a bedroom, they have their covers...
