Some people just make amstaff rules when it suits them. Do your own thing in your own yard.

We're the same way. Hemi is chipped and has tags but the only time he wears a collar is when we go in public.

never have your name or address on the dogs tag, stranger comes up to pat your dog and say how nice it is, but really hes seeing where you live so he can steal it.

Mine is chipped and wears his collar n tags . Good point about the address and stealing thing never thought of it that way but most people cross the street when they see him let alone ask to pet him . I feel bad cause he gets a big smile when he sees them coming than just stops wagging when they go the other way.
Please forgive my spelling ability

Because they're with me. Won't let them out of my sight!
Of course they are also chipped and registered with the national database.
I also register all the puppies we breed before they move out to their new owners.

And NEVER put the dogs name on the tag, allows the potential thieves to call the dog by name thereby winning the dogs trust.
