Most beef has pres' in it....number somewhere in the range of 216-223 ,from memory. Most of the preservatives in the 200's have skin allergies as a side effect.

My girl has dealt with bouts of itchy skin on and off nearly all her life. Armpits are one of the areas. I've found that keeping her diet simple (lamb and rice) and avoiding unhealthy treats seems to help the most. The outbreaks are few and far between, now. Oatmeal baths and benadryl can help and if it gets to the point of infection - two weeks of keflex always does the trick. Bob

I agree with all comments, but yeah its one of those problems that pop up and then all of a sudden goes away on it's own. Sahn can rip himself up at times were its raw...I've lowered his kibble intake, so that must be helping. Thanks for all your comments.
