Have any of you ever used bully sticks? If so what did you think of them?

I have. I would say they are a step up from rawhide and far less likely to cause digestive problems or choking. My girl still went through them pretty quickly when she was younger and they are quite expensive - especially the bigger ones you need for our breed. Final verdict: OK to offer once in a while as a treat, but not worth it on a frequent basis. Bob

If you're just looking for something good to chew on, my boy is a big fan of deer or elk antlers. They aren't messy, don't smell & don't splinter either.

I'll have to give the deer antlers a try, and ya they are quite expensive. Thanks for your input. (:

For what's worth my boy's antler last six months, so it paid off for me

Wasn't there a member of the forum who was a hunter and had hundreds of the darn things? He had offered to ship them to us

I tried so many chews and bones and Sophie can can splinter any rawhide within an hour. There is a Busy Bone called The Ultimate. It feels like a brick but lasts for up to a week and some. Best of all it doesn't break into pieces.
