Just wanted to let you all know that your comments and advice have helped Taffy so much. She is the 3 month puppy that kept lunging and biting at us in play. Once I talked with all of you and realized I didnt have a monster on my hands, i was able to deal with her much better. Now, when she jumps and starts to pull at my pants legs or nip, i turn around and walk into the house. She sits at the screen door and whines for me to come back out. I wait a few minutes and come back out and she is fine. She also has learned what NO BITE means and almost always stops. Thank you all so much. I have told everyone that your forum has made all the difference for me in raising this dog. And I gotta tell you, she is the most amazing dog i've ever owned. I know I will be writing often for your sage advice. You guys really know what you are talking about. Thanks.

I know exactly how you feel lol.. i had the same problem with Skylar.. but to keep it in mind.. When Skylar stopped mouthing with me.. i thought all is cured until she played mouthing with strangers and visitors who greet her! I had to train her all over again.. she stopped doing them now because she knows that it is not just the owner but anybody else too.
